Don’t interpret this tasty collection of photos as a message to cut calories.
New York food photographer, Beth Galton has taken an inside view of what we eat in her series ‘Cut Food’. Literally, it’s a bunch of food cut right down the middle. Galton explains the different perspective she chose to take on typical food imagery,
“By cutting these items in half we move past the simple appetite appeal we normally try to achieve and explore the interior worlds of these products.”
Now that’s food for thought.
To fully enjoy these images, I suggest not viewing on an empty stomach. Or else you’ll be mopping up the drool that’s landed on your keyboard.
