You can tell this guy loves his kids… I mean, sure everyone loves their kids, but with this portraits, you can see his father’s pride really shine through. This is why photography is my chosen hobby, favorite pastime, and profession. I was introduced to photography by my uncle, always snapping photos of us when we were young, and I’m grateful for the countless photos of my childhood worth a lifetime of memories. What better hobby than one that provides priceless memorabilia of you and your loved ones?
Jason Lee, a California based wedding photographer is the epitome of creative photographer and awesome dad. While talented at his day job (weddings photography) there’s something magical and truely special when he turns his camera onto his daughters.
Q: How do you come up with such creative photos of your daughters? What’s your creative process like?
A: Most of the ideas come from the girls, from observing them play, or hearing the funny and outrageous things they say. Their day to day life also plays a big role for my inspiration. Creative process, hmm, thats a tough one. After coming up with an idea, I then ‘set up’ the scene, and often use artificial lighting to enhance the images. It helps to plan out the shoot before hand, so at most, I only have them in the shoot for a minute or two.
