Twenty Cancer Patients Were Asked To Keep Their Eyes Shut While They Were Given A Makeover. A Photographer Then Immortalized The Moment They Opened Their Eyes

European cancer charity Mimi Foundation put together a project that helped 20 cancer patients forget about their disease, “if only for a second.” Photographer Vincent Dixon captured that moment and published the photos in a book whose aim was to help “spread smiles and happiness.” You can look at some of the photos in the book below:
